Preserving the Passion
The heart of human excellence often begins to beat when you discover a pursuit that absorbs you, frees you, challenges you, or gives you a sense of meaning, joy, or passion.

This special podcast by 16-year-old Norah Spanbauer, a runner-up in the New York Times Student Podcast Contest, may just be the “note” you need today to reconnect with your passion. 💚
Norah is a bright, shining light in my life…and also happens to be my niece. We are super proud of her creative activities and the hard work that goes into them.
Like her, I grew up playing the violin with dreams of excellence. And while I met my goals at the high school level, the drive for perfection and hours of practice took it’s toll.
